If an interesting notification pops up on your screen, you may want to share it with your friends. This requires taking a screenshot, saving the picture, after which you need to send the picture or upload it. It may not be so difficult, but sometimes the effort is not worth it. CapShare enables you to capture any area of your screen and share it on Facebook instantly. After taking a snapshot, you just need to write a comment and click a button to upload your image.

Installing CapShare on your computer is easy, but you will have to connect the application to your Facebook account before using it. Fortunately, the process is not complicated. When your run CapShare for the first time, you will have to provide your log in details, on a small window and click an Allow button.

CapShare works in the background and you can use its primary function by double clicking its system tray icon. This will place a transparent layer over your screen and you will be able to capture a region by clicking and dragging with your mouse to form a rectangle. When you release the mouse button, the software will capture your selected area and load it on a small window.

While previewing your screenshot, you can write a comment or click a hyperlink to get a URL. If a web page is loaded in your default browser and you click the aforementioned hyperlink, CapShare will copy and paste the site's URL automatically. The picture's size can be set to normal or stretched by clicking one of the radio buttons, on the lower edge of the interface. It is also possible to load a picture from your hard drive.

When you are ready, you may click the Share option, in the upper right corner of the window. The software will post it on your Facebook page, in a new album, without prompting you for anything. If you want to save the screenshot on your hard drive as well, you can paste it in Paint or any other image editor. When taking a snapshot, it will be saved in the clipboard automatically.

Pros

CapShare lets you capture any area of the screen and share the snapshot instantly. It is possible to load images from the hard drive as well and share them just as easy. The software does not come with too many options, which makes it very easy to use.

Cons

You can take screenshots only by drawing a rectangle. Capturing a window by clicking it would be a useful feature. CapShare makes it possible to capture and share anything on your screen fast and easy.
